15 Year Old has Heart Attack.mov

An incredible tale of a 15 year kid who had a heart attack after class, died three times and lives to tell the tale today!!!! We also have the incredible hospital staff that helped save his life and the procedures they used to do it.

Follow me on twitter: twitter.com :D On August 4, 1955, Miranda suffered a heart attack during a segment of the live The Jimmy Durante Show, although she did not realize it. After completing a dance digit, she unknowingly suffered a mild heart attack, and near collapsed. She quickly pulled herself together and refined the show. At the end of the announce, she smiled and waved, then exited the stage. She died later that night after suffering a second heart attack at her home. en.wikipedia.org

Incredible how quickly she pulled herself. It nearly looks like it’s part of the act especially when he says, “I’ll take your lines”.

Poor small girl… you can see she was not okay during the whole digit… it’s so sad. That’s the result of years of long hours work plus gray use of uppers and downers.

Miss Miranda really died of heart failure, brought in this area by pre-eclampsia and acute hypertension from an undisclosed pregnancy. Although she had battled addiction to prescription drugs, she had quit them during a stay of many weeks in Rio in the early months of 1955. While near every source on Internet states that she suffered a mild heart attack during this footage, there is simply no way of knowing that. She was likely in a very weakened affect up. Tragic enough in any consequence.

It really mind blowing to watch something like this knowing she died a small while after. You never know when your time is up it’s so weird and bizarre. Don’t wanna reckon to deeply in this area it really because it’s displeasing to reckon. I was just watching Dorothy Kilgallen on her last WML appearance and it’s very weird to reckon those were peoples last hours and they didn’t know it.

Wow, this is right Hollywood. She refined her performance regardless. You don’t see stars that make an impact like this any longer or who have the glamour. Mickey Rooney said it best when he stated “There will never be or ever can be another Carmen Miranda”.

The curriculum was NOT live, but on film. Carmen suffered a mild heart attack in the middle of dancing with Durante. She drops to her knees, but quickly recovers to end the show. What a trouper! At the end of the show, she kisses Durante, dances to the center of the stage, blows the audience a kiss, and dances out a door, which Durante closes. Carmen Miranda died later that night at her Beverly Hills home of a second–and fatal–heart attack. God bless this wonderful performer.

What a shame. She wasn’t very ancient either

@listeningtoit David Sebastian, the low-life-dual-dealing-wife-beating-gold-digger? I don’t usually speak ill of the dead but, what a douche bag and predator he must have been. I’m sure Carmen was being paid something she sought after from him in return (at least at first) but why did she have to let it ruin her whole life? Maybe her strict Catholicism was the ultimate downfall because she stayed with a scumbag for the WRONG reasons! Just venting here… carry on…

I hope she “got going and had a pleased time” in the place she liked most (it’s the best) The West! I delight in your music daily. I’m only 35 and you were gone WAY before my time… Wish I could have seen you Yippsee-I-O and Kayaeah!

en el minuto 3:32 a ella le da el briefing ataque y cae, pero Jimmy la sujeta…horas despues muere en su casa de un segundo infarto

  13. TOPCAT3443 says:

it was the drugs that she was taking that caused her heart failure. im sure it was the stress of hollywood stardom that killed her.

  14. defygravity1223 says:

3:31 just kills me every time I watch it. You can tell she’s hurt but she continues. Fantastic performer.

  15. eyecmypets says:

That dear brilliant comedian…what a trouper…she refined her life the way she lived , by giving the people sheer entertainment! RIP…one of the all time greats!

  16. wardyladohaye says:

    god luv her

  17. listeningtoit says:

The expression of pain is clear on her face in the moment her heart fails! Some people recalls that she complained of pain in the arms and was given an injection during the show filming! She died a few hours later at home! She was highly intoxicated by prescripted drugs and alcohol in those final times, prescriptions given by her personal doctor, a certain Doctor Marxer, below the supervision of hubby David Sebastian!

  18. OldieMusicMan says:

It’s so sad. The whole bit is so amusing and wonderfully performed, only to have this sad incident overshadowing it. Ah, well. Miss Miranda got to die in a way that most fantastic performers want to go: entertaining. Well, just having entertained, but you know.

Wow, what a trooper…the show must go on was her last thought, I’m certain. Bless you Carmen, and all the wonderful tuti-fruiti talent that you had. Really LOVED all your recordings with The Andrews Sisters, too.
